My Sweet Family

I found the site Blog2Print yesterday online and checked it out. I love it, and will soon be printing out what I have so far. I loved going back and reading all the things that have happened to our little family in the past 3 years. I can't believe it's almost been 3 years! I can't believe how much growing and learning has happened, just in the past 8 months! We are completely different people now. I want to share my testimony on here. This is not just for the world to see how our family is doing. It is a personal family record for us as well, and I want what I know to be shared with everyone!
I am so grateful for my testimony of the gospel. I know God lives and loves me as an individual. I know that when I pray, He listens and answers my honest prayers. I know that God sent his Son to die for me. Every trial I have, ache I feel, pain I cause, sin I commit, has already been suffered for. I know I can repent of my sins and be forgiven. I know that the wonderful miracle of forgiveness is one of the most wonderful feelings. I have felt the weight that has been removed when I know I am forgiven and can also forgive freely in my own heart. I know that the Book of Mormon is true with all my heart. There are times that I'll be reading something and just want to shout, "Hello?! This is true, this is real!!". I know that the Bible is true as well and have felt the sweet promptings of the spirit when I am reading from it, verifying to my soul that it, too, is true. I am so grateful for the temple blessings that I am able to receive. I wish we had one closer, but when we can go, I am spiritually renewed and know that the covenants I make are real and powerful and that if I keep my covenants, 100%, no questions asked at all, I will be happier and blessed to the fullest. I am grateful for the trials I have had so far in my life. They have shaped who I am now and who I hope to become. I want to learn from my mistakes and trials and be the best I can be now.
Today, I choose to live each day to the fullest. I choose to enjoy every moment of every day. I choose to kiss my husband more and hold my sweet daughter a little tighter. I choose to look at everyone I meet and talk to as a literal son or daughter of God. I choose to share love and kindness, not bitterness and hate. Today marks day 1 of the "New Rebecca". I am excited and hopeful.

Now, after that epistle, here's some pictures of Charlotte for your enjoyment.

Anytime I am in the kitchen, Charlotte likes to join me. She pulls out all the plastic containers and washcloths and plays with them. This is only HALF of the mess she creates most days. I love the washcloth thing though, I must clean a lot. She will take them and rub the carpet or fridge and go "osh, osh" as in "wash, wash". It makes me laugh. She really is saying a lot these days.

Charlotte learned how to climb onto her toy box. She has a hard time, however, getting DOWN. We originally had it in the front room blocking off the bookcase, but she climbed and was pulling books down. So, I moved all her toys to her room and cleared off the last two shelves of the bookcase to make them her shelves only! There are a couple baskets with small toys in them, but all of her bigger toys are now in her room. I also re-organized her room so that it's baby proof and she can wander between her room and the front room now and play all day. It's nice.
She loves to read books. We go to the library all the time!
Charlotte's first time coloring! I made these crayons for her by melting down regular crayons in muffin cups so they are bigger and easier for her to hold. She still tries to eat them, but is slowly getting the hang of it.
Her VERY FIRST ice cream cone. Poor kid, had to wait until she was 15 months old?? What parent does that to a kid? haha
I made a play mat for my little brother for his (late) birthday and am currently working on one for my youngest sister too. It is super time consuming, but so fun!! I really hope they like them.
Me. At the dentist. Hating life (not gonna lie). Currently numb at this point. Waiting for the drilling to begin. I hate the dentist more than anything. Notice the ear buds... they helped immensely. I turned on some BEP as loud as it would go and could hardly hear the drilling. It was amazing. I will be doing this forever more :)
Charlotte and her friend, Emily, swinging away!!

We hope everyone is happy and healthy and having a good day. Miss and love you all!
