OK, I quit on the challenge.... I'm lame, I know. But I do have pictures! And updates!!
So this is a nightgown that I had when I was Charlotte's age. My sweet Mom kept it and now Charlotte is wearing it! Unfortunately, the fabric is basically see-through and starting to get some holes (it IS over 20 years old!), so she'll be the last one to wear it :( I think she looks super cute in it though!
Valentine's Day! I made pink heart pancakes.......
........Charlotte and Mom went out to lunch together while George was at school.......
....... I made a red velvet cake for our special dinner. It was good, but super rich!
A while ago, I gave Charlotte a strainer to play with in the tub. She loves it. She also enjoys wearing it as a hat :) I snapped this picture while she was reading one of her bath books.
It has been SO nice outside, so Charlotte's been able to wear cute spring clothes!
(Note to self: This green shirt is blinding! No more pics with it on!)
We planted our herb garden the other day. It was so fun to have Charlotte's help. She helped pour in the seeds and water each pot. I'm loving this age.
We had a family date to the park the other night. It was SO nice outside.
Not much else is new. I am almost 28 weeks pregnant and starting to feel it! I just feel huge, but I'm enjoying this pregnancy so much more than my last pregnancy. I just have a better attitude and that REALLY makes a difference. We still aren't settled on a name. We like Leah and Lucy, but just aren't sure yet. We'll see when she's born!! Charlotte still doesn't really know what's going on. I'm anxious to see how well she adjusts to being a big sister. Hopefully well!!
George will (really!) start flying this semester! We're so excited that he's getting so close to the end now! I'm nervous about him flying, but I know he'll be really good at it. He started both radar and tower simulators now and really loves it! It's so fun to have him come home from class and be so excited about what he's going to be doing. I'm really glad he likes it. He's set to graduate in July and then we'll see what happens! Hopefully he'll get offered a job right away. If so, he'll go to Oklahoma City for 6 weeks at the FAA Academy and then immediately after, we'll move to the city they're sending us to. We do get to choose 3 cities. Those are Denver, CO- Nashville, TN- and Raleigh, NC. I'm really hoping we get into one of those. But if not, we'll take whatever is given to us and hope for the best! We're really excited for the rest of the year. It's exciting!
Charlotte recognizes almost all the letters in the alphabet. It's so fun! I'm going to make a video with her saying them. It's fun when we're out and about and she's pointing to all the letters she knows. Her favorite is "O". It cracked me up today. We drove next to a casino and were stuck in traffic and I hear her in the back, "C-A-sssssss-I-N-O". With "S" she just makes the noise... whatever :)
OK, that's about all that's going on around here! We miss our friends and family, but we're having a blast here too. Come visit anytime!!!!

You are so funny :) I love the strainer hat. And I love that she knows her letters! Kambi knows almost the whole alphabet too and it is so fun to watch her recognize them in books or on shirts etc.
So when G is working he can get us good deals on flights, right? Because we for sure want to come visit you guys someday!!! We miss you a lot!
Ugh, I wish he could! Unfortunately, HE doesn't even get any flight benefits. Lame, huh :( But visits are in our future for SURE!!!
so...i so remember seeing that nightgown from our childhood years. is that so weird? i love that charlotte can now wear it. i'm not sure where all of my childhood clothes are, i think mom gave them to aunt rachel for all of her girls. :) happy things in your house, i just love it! also, i would love if you posted more pics of your cute tummy. thanks! love you.
Wow, she knows her letters! That's fabulous. I love the picture with her strainer hat. Kids are so darling. Sounds like you are all doing great, just what I wanted to hear. :)
Cute post!!! Shelby has a few pieces of my clothes when I was younger too! :) It is pretty special! I am jealous of your warmer weather, hopefully spring/summer will come soon so we can experience the warmth and have these cute baby girls!!!
